Great weekend for Galaxy Youth Cheerleading. Our two competitive teams competed at Thrillfest on Sunday April 28, 2013. Thrillfest is a JAMFest Cheerleading competition held at Six Flags New England . Our stunt team Fierce placed 1st in their level 5 partner stunt division. Our Youth Level 1 team Superstarz not only took first place but also held the highest overall score in the Level 1 division making them Grand Champions. This achievement earned Superstarz a full paid bid to compete at the US Finals competition this coming Saturday in Providence, RI. The cheerleaders are super excited to see what they can do again next week! Both teams competed all morning and then had a blast at the Six Flags park with their team mates for the rest of the day.

Galaxy will be sponsoring a printer and copier toner cartridge recycle event Apr 22-26. Bring all your used cartridges to the drop box at your convenience.
Drop box will be located in the Colchester town hall – look for the collection box in the lobby
Most of us have inkjet printers at home or work. Next time when you have an empty cartridge, don’t throw it away.
Just put it in a Ziploc bag or the original cartridge box and bring it to We have a special recycle box. Benefits to our community:
Everybody helps. We can make a difference. Reduce pollution. Cartridges do not decompose for 1,000 years. Save energy. Empty ones can be remanufactured and reused.
On average, a person uses 2 cartridges a year. The potential is huge.
With the help of your donation we will be on our way to being able to purchase uniforms and much needed equipment for our Cheerleaders! Plus we can help save the earth through recycling. A win win for everyone.
